Bible Baptist Church of Pécs welcomes English speakers to
come and worship with us.
For many years, students from Europe and Africa have attended our
services regularly. Bible Baptist
offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Christ honoring music and solid
Bible preaching. Our interpreters
will enable you to understand the preaching at every service.

We have Sunday School at 9:00 and worship at 10:00, with an evening
worship service at 17:00 every Sunday.
On Wednesdays we meet for fellowship, Bible study and prayer at 18:00.
Other events include regular ladies'
fellowship meetings and discipleship Bible studies for those who are
interested.
Bible Baptist Church of Pécs is an independent Baptist
church which was started in 1995 by American missionary
Jim Knies and his Hungarian co-worker, Gedeon Oláh. The
church also operates a Bible institute to train national
leadership, headed by David Potter. In 2008, the church sent out the
Oláh family to plant a new church in
Nagykanizsa. In 2009, the church called Béla
Horváth to become their first national pastor.
Today Bible Baptist Church seeks to glorify God by making and maturing
disciples of Jesus Christ through the
faithful preaching and teaching of the Word of God and through
fellowship and encouragement from other Christians.
